We’re Always Excited to Welcome New Visitors!

Welcome to Union Hill! We are a congregation of the church of Christ that meets in western Kentucky, just outside of the cities of Hardin and Benton. We hope that you'll join us for a service; here's what you can expect when you come to one of our 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Sunday services.

Our church is located at 882 Union Hill Rd, Benton, KY, just off of US-641, and plenty of parking is located on site.

If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door, or pull under the front canopy to drop off passengers (especially if there's rain!).

Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church,

for we know that God is no respecter of persons based on outward appearance alone (James 2:1-12), and the most important thing that we can "wear" is a faithful spirit and a humble heart. Suit and tie or slacks and plaid, all are welcome. We only ask that attire be modest, and chosen with discretion to remember the One we serve.

When you walk in, find a greeter

or a church member to introduce yourself, and be sure to grab a bulletin! Greeters are usually stationed at the front doors and they are happy to show you where everything is in our building. If you have children, they'll help you find the nursery and Bible class rooms. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms or auditorium. If you have any questions about the service itself, they are able to provide helpful answers.

Our communion supplies are also located on the table to your right when you enter through the front doors. Feel free to grab a cup and take it to your seat in the auditorium. If you forget, don't worry -- someone will bring it to you once we get to that part of our worship service.

Join us for our potluck meal

on the first Sunday of each month! Between morning service and afternoon service, members and guests alike are invited to gather together and fellowship over a delicious meal. Please don't hesitate to stay and enjoy good food and great company!

What To Expect

When you come to join us for the first time,

one of our greeters will be glad to help you become comfortable. If you'd like, they'll help you find the nursery, restrooms, and auditorium.

During the service,

you'll hear our faith expressed in the songs we sing, the prayers we offer up and our minister's preaching. All parts of our service are grounded in the Bible, which we are committed to upholding. At Union Hill, we are New Testament Christians and we look toward God's Word when it comes to how we run our service as well as how we live our lives outside of this building, and we look to recorded examples of New Testament worship as the standard and guide for our own services (Revelation 22:18-19). After the service,

stick around and introduce yourself! You'll always find a few friendly faces hanging around and chatting after the services have ended.

No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us on Sunday. Here at Union Hill Church of Christ, we welcome everyone--including you. Our services start at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. every Sunday, with an afternoon service at 1:30 pm. Mid-week services are Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

Ministries

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works."

(Hebrews 10:24)

At Union Hill, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith.  Our ministries come in all shapes and sizes.  Please come and join us for worship.

Youth Ministry

We have a large and active youth group for our congregation size, and it is constantly growing. Youth classes are available for all ages each Sunday morning at 9:30 am as well as on Wednesday evening at 7 pm. Additionally, our youth group participates in a number of extracurricular activities such as retreats, singings, and outings, as well as summer camp at nearby WKYC, just to name a few! Check out our youth ministry page for more information.

Senior Ministry

"Hilltoppers" is the name of our seniors group, but this crew is far from over the hill! Organized by our minister, Don McBrayer, the Hilltoppers regularly enjoy meeting together for parties, meals, and outings. The congregation also hosts an annual Seniors Banquet with delicious food and fun entertainment. You can read more about this ministry on our Hilltoppers page.

Ladies Ministry

The Union Hill ladies group gets together often for classes, devotionals, and fun evenings to fellowship with like-minded women. All ages and stages are welcome, from singles to grandmothers and old to young.
